Hello friends! After quite a long time, here's a new blog post. The past weeks have been really exciting. After arriving safely in Santiago, I immediately headed south to Patagonia😃. First stop was the city of Punta Arenas, a charming small town on the Strait of Magellan. From there, I continued towards Puerto Natales, the starting point for a visit to Torres del Paine National Park. I only spent one day in the park myself, but it was totally worth it. The landscape was simply incredible. After about a week in Patagonia, I flew back to Santiago and took a bus to La Serena. La Serena is also a nice city that invites you to spend a day at the beach when the weather is right. On my third evening in La Serena, the city was hit by an earthquake. The epicenter was only about 15 km away. It was a really strange feeling when everything suddenly started shaking 😅. But everything turned out fine. The city itself didn't suffer much damage and I survived as well 😅😂. To relax after the shock, I then went to the Elqui Valley. This is where Chile's national drink, Pisco, is mainly produced and cultivated.
To be continued ☺
