Enjoy family time ❤️🇹🇭 — Explore Khao Lak

Not much is happening here on the blog at the moment. This is because we really enjoy family time. We drive around, drive from beach to beach, enjoy the food and have a damn good time together.

It has to be said that I don't think any of us would describe Khao Lak as THE dream destination. On the one hand, we're really unlucky with the sea, it's always very wavy and it's not easy to swim - we don't know that at all from Thailand. On the other hand, the place is very, very touristy - German-touristy and that's just not our thing.

But - and now comes the big but - it actually doesn't matter where we are and whether it looks like paradise here or the way it currently looks. Because the main thing is: we are together.

And that is what matters to us at the moment. We enjoy the time together as a group of 5. It's so nice to see mom and dad with Kian, he laughs so much and is so happy. Just great.

And despite all the complaining: the beaches are still beautiful and the food tastes excellent. Maybe we'll be lucky the next day and the sea will be a little calmer.

Until then, we'll just continue to have a good time at some beach bar and sip our mango or watermelon shakes. You realize, life could be worse 😅❤️
