Bikeride, trainride and bikeride again

I noticed, that riding the steep hills with a packed bike everyday is not so much fun. Sometimes I'm tired after 10k because it took me an hour to do it. On the other hand I really like hilly areas. So I decided to take the train for the hilliest routes. From Brecon which is a very beautiful small town, I had a day tour through great landscape to Builth Wells where the next train station was. From far I could hear loud rock music and I realised that there was a motorbike festival going on. My requests for staying overnight weren't answered and I worried a bit that everything is fully booked. I kept calling the campsites and in the end I found a nice spot in the forest. They told me that also elves lives in there.

The next day I took the train (buying a train ticket online is a story itself) but sitting in the train and watching the breathtaking scenery was like watching a great movie. In the evening I stayed at the campsite at the beach near Porthmadog. I had a little walk arroud and met some nice people making a fire in a cave. We spend the evening together and enjoyed the warmth of the campfire. Thanks Kerry and the guys for this great time.

After my daily breakfast (cereals with hot water and banana) I cycled to Caernarfon. That is a nice town with a huge castle and a lovely hostel where a stayed for the night. It is very interesting because in this area they all speak Welsh but I already forgot what they taught me, it is too complicated.

Wales seems to be very exciting in many respects. Now you are already almost through. Do you know that your mother was in Llandudno to improve her English, when she was a school-girl?

Lisa
Oh wow, I didn't know. Llandudno with the longest pier in the World! 😉
