When it was raining and only +15 degrees, we drove from Valencia to Alicante (190 km) at 11:00 am. Upon arrival in Alicante, the first motorhome parking area was no longer in operation. The second one, which was really nice, was unfortunately fully occupied. We saw several Germans there who obviously want to spend the winter there. The place was really good, clean, and well equipped. Too bad! So we continued driving to Torrevieja (70 km). There is no real parking space here, but you can simply park and spend the night on almost all public parking lots, although this is only allowed in winter. We chose a nice one with a sea view (see photo). It is quite windy here, but it is still +23 degrees with cloudy sky. After climbing along the rocky beach, we had a delicious vegetable pan and then played Scrabble with a good bottle of red wine while directly overlooking the sea. What could be better!
