Hello everyone, today I took a trip to the Q éswachaka suspension bridge. It is a 28 m long and 1.20 m wide rope bridge in the Peruvian province of Canas. It is the last of its kind. It is made entirely of woven grass and spans the Rio Apurimac. The bridge allows several hundred residents of the area to cross the river. The bridge is rebuilt every June and has existed in this form for around 500 years. This bridge is considered to be the last functioning suspension bridge of the Incas. It was a really long way to get there, but it was really worth it. I even ventured about it. In the end it wasn't as bad as it seemed before. The stairs to the bridge and back up were worse. Unfortunately, I'm still looking for my knees. On the way there, we passed 4 lagoons that were beautiful. One lagoon was filled with salt water. However it works... I have no idea, I'll have to google it. I had a gay Patrizia who could only speak Spanish and English. You're welcome, not everyone can speak German. But we got along very well. A little bit of each and the translator, wonderful combination. We got back at 4 p.m., then I kind of chilled out. And what can I tell you, I'm looking forward to tomorrow :)
