This morning I actually led my first solo tour. We had German guests and it worked out really well. Greetings to Kerstin and Oli. This time I rode Goa and it is actually the counterpart to my Askja - a fox/wind-colored ball, reliable and super easy and pleasant to ride. I arrived home safely with both happy guests and their horses. Goal achieved :-). Right after that, we went on the second tour - the horses didn't need to do much more. Sundays are only scheduled for the so-called RUN and not for individual training. The horses go on a 7-kilometer route and are supposed to run without riders. In the early afternoon, Magnus' parents arrived and there was an Icelandic barbecue, potatoes from the oven, lamb, and sausages from the grill. Extra delicious. Spontaneously, we went for ice cream - and no, we didn't lick the glacier, but we went to a gas station with a connected shop and a big soft ice cream machine in Blönduos. And now the anecdote of the day: When asked why Magnus' parents' dog should stay with us and go everywhere with us - Magnus said it's because the dog lives in the city. (Magnus' parents live in the town of Hvammstangi with 600 residents and they are spread out over a huge area.....) That's the topic of the vastness of the country - Magnus' farm is 950 hectares in size
