After leaving our hotel in Port Macquarie early this morning, we drove only 10 minutes to the Koala Hospital.
On the way, Wara pointed out holes in the grass and warned us not to stick our fingers in them. The deadliest spiders in the world, the Funnel Spiders 😱, live in these holes. There is an antidote, but it's not something you want to try, let alone see 😅🙈.
We continued towards Valla Beach where we met a Gumbayngirr (an Australian Aboriginal group). After receiving war paint and being smoked with eucalyptus fire, he told us about the tribe and products from the area.
Afterwards, we visited the Danger Falls, but unfortunately it was too cold to swim 😅.
Check-in this time is at the Dorrigo Hotel. I would describe Dorrigo as a small sleepy cowboy town 😅.
