After a somewhat restless night (I claim I heard wolves - and the internet confirms this) I finally set off at 9am. The beginning of the route was really difficult. Lots of elevation gain and on gravel. The wind didn't make things any easier. After about 30 km I finally arrived in Mariánské Lázně. A very beautiful city where I treated myself to a little bit (unfortunately I forgot the name).
If I had more time, the rest of the city would certainly have been very beautiful too. However, I realized that I had already been traveling for 4 hours and still had 70 km to go. So it was time to make kilometers. Luckily I got going and was still able to enjoy the landscape. Towards the end of the day I deviated from the route because, although gravel roads are very nice, they are very tiring when they only go up and down. So I followed the main road. After 99 kilometers, 1600 meters in altitude and an average speed of just 13 km/h, I arrived in Kralovice tired and exhausted.
