Morelia and Guanajuato - Day 10

After breakfast, I spent the morning in Morelia visiting two museums. The first one was the Museo Regional Michoacano and the second one was the birthplace of José Maria Morelos, a Mexican freedom fighter and national hero.

Afterwards, I embarked on the journey to Guanajuato, which was a straight drive this time. The route first took me through a swampy landscape on a dam and then through fertile farmland. Very beautiful and diverse!

Guanajuato is nestled between two hills, so the narrow streets go up and down. It is a bustling city with many tourists. During a walk, I gathered first impressions. I spent the rest of the afternoon at the rooftop pool of the hotel with a wonderful view.
