Hi guys,
today we took it a bit easier. The day started with being able to sleep a little longer. We didn't get out of bed until around 8am and sat down at the breakfast table.
First, there was coffee, as always in the dreamy morning sun, and then we took care of breakfast. We had toast. Both with fried eggs and avocado, as well as with various spreads that we bought at the supermarket yesterday!😊
After we were full, we briefly took care of the dishes and then focused on our car. Not the car itself, but mainly what's inside the car, because it desperately needed some reorganization. We sorted things out, moved things around, and cleaned everything up a bit.
When we were done, we were rewarded with much better organization and more space, which is great because our space is naturally limited due to choosing a pick-up truck! By now, we were both very warm and decided to take a shower and freshen up a bit. Unfortunately, Ann-Estelle wasn't feeling well due to women's issues, which wasn't made any better by the heat, but we managed that together as well. Freshly showered and with a new order in the car, we set off toward the north. So far, Ann-Estelle and I are doing really well traveling together here, in my opinion, and it's really fun.
When we arrived in the next town, we did some shopping, such as getting a new gas stove. Although the one we got from the previous owner is still perfectly fine, it annoyed me that it only has one burner. So we decided to buy a new gas stove with two burners, which should provide much more comfort for cooking in the future, considering that we almost cook every day here.
In the town, we quickly refueled our car and then made our way to the campsite.
On the way, Ann-Estelle even saw her first kangaroo, now we have both seen one!😍
Today we're sleeping a bit outside of civilization at a free spot, which is really nicely located.
We had something to eat and enjoyed the sunset and the breathtaking view before getting back in bed.
We actually don't have a plan for tomorrow yet, but that's also nice for a change!😊
Greetings from Woodford, Australia!🇦🇺
Your Tim!😊
