The next morning, not only our heads were pounding, but the bass was also pounding through the upper floor. As the weather was supposed to improve around midday, we packed our things and drove back to Joaquina Beach after breakfast. The waves were significantly higher, partly due to the relatively strong wind, and there were accordingly more surfers in the water. In places the sun came through the clouds and so swimming was also quite pleasant at times. As we had chosen accommodation in a different place for the next two nights, we set off in the late afternoon and reached "Praia do Jurere" after a good 40-minute drive. Although many wealthy people live in the small town, it offered us a small apartment with a cool view and quiet surroundings. We conjured up a few burgers in the small kitchen and ended the day watching a series.
