Florianopolis II

As there wasn't much going on in Guarda do Embaú, we went back to the island. But this time to the center of Campeche. Campeche is actually the right size, there's something going on but not too much in the low season. A big plus was a bakery that came very close to a German one, a little preview of home! After a few mishaps with the vacation rentals, we found a beautiful one, which we still think the owner forgot a zero in the price. Well, tough luck for him, we had a whole house with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with a whirlpool and a huge kitchen with a bar and living area.

In Florianopolis, the boys were able to rent surfboards at a surf school. The owner is a former professional surfer and if he hadn't celebrated his birthday too much, we would have liked to take a few surf lessons with him.

On good weather days, we went surfing or to the beach, and on bad weather days, we watched the kite and windsurfers. We also had plenty of time to sleep in and relax.

After 2.5 weeks in Brazil, Mario and Hannes had to go back home. We were very happy that they visited us here and hope they enjoyed their time!
