10 hours bus ride ahead of me and a break. As you know my bladder, it is already full of anticipation.
The bus station is the biggest chaos and I was glad when I found my seat and nobody sat next to me. Legroom is an unknown word...
So off we went. There was a lot to see, but I was too tired. Most of the time I slept. After 5 hours, I had to overcome my fear of going to the toilet all alone and then finding the bus again, because my bladder wasn't in the mood for fun. And suddenly I got used to everything. The hustle and bustle, the people, the smells and sounds.
After that, thanks to an adrenaline rush, I was wide awake and could admire the many animals on my journey. The animals that I only know from the zoo or nature films. Breathtaking. Incredibly beautiful. Speechless...
11 hours and 30 minutes later, I arrived and finally arrived at my house. And there they were - my new roommates. Much better than a lizard! 4 girls from Germany. One of them - my roommate - is even a midwife too. My joy was indescribably great. We had a nice first evening together and afterwards I slept very well.
Conclusion of the day: Never trust African time indications!
