Wednesday was PicNic themed, we actually wanted to visit the new Winery Quion Rock and enjoy a PicNic there, but that failed because they were not reachable the day before and did not respond to a phone call.
That disappointed us, but did not discourage us, nevertheless we set off to Quion Rock shortly before 11 am and visited the remarkable property and walked through the garden. Afterwards, we continued to Kanonkop, a winery that was on the way to Warwick. Here we enjoyed a wine tasting and learned that the company Savinis (savinis.ch) carries the entire range for CH (Switzerland).
We then proceeded to Warwick, where we arrived shortly before 1 pm and registered for the PicNic. We were assigned a nice spot right next to the pond, where large cushions and two blankets, as well as the classic wooden board, were waiting for us. First, mineral water was served to us, in the meantime we had time to choose and order the wine, which was then brought and poured in front of the PicNic boxes. The ordered PicNic boxes were exclusively filled with exciting combinations. We enjoyed the PicNic by the lake and time flew by. Finally, we were served an espresso before we made our way back to Twice Central.
In the evening, we took an Uber to Cavalli Estate, where we met acquaintances of Philippe and Liliane. The food was good, but unfortunately the experience is among the worst we have had here in SA (South Africa), in our opinion Cavalli Estate, as we experienced it, is not recommended. Around 10 pm, the Uber brought us back to our accommodation.
