Tag 20 - Cu Chi Tunnel

After a breakfast consisting of iced coffee with condensed milk and an apple turnover, I was picked up for my day trip. This took me to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which are about an hour and a half away.

The tunnel systems, which are over 250 km long in total, were built and used by Vietnamese independence fighters and the Vietcong from the 1950s to the 1970s.

We were also allowed to crawl through a section of tunnel that was about 120 meters long and a maximum of 1 meter high. Not for people with a fear of enclosed spaces.
