Boipeba

On Saturday, January 4th, we depart from Salvador with the car ferry. Although we are early in line at the ticket counter, we don't make it in time for the 8 o'clock ferry. One hour later, we cross over to Bom Despacho on Itaparica, where our ordered driver awaits us. Delay? No problem, everything is tranquillo 🤣. Two hours by car, our cool driver stops in his hometown Valenca and organizes speedboat tickets, bypassing all the queues. He takes us to Graciosa by boat and stows our luggage. That deserves a good tip for him and a radiant smile for us 😁. In just under an hour, we reach the small car-free island of Boipeba.
