The day started for us at 7 am and we set off on a 4.7 km hike. We chose the dog route so that Marley could do some "exercise". However, we realized along the way that we had difficulty translating the Swedish instructions and that Dad was much better at jumping over the obstacles for dogs. Well, the dog did move around, but he didn't really learn anything.
We then went to Trelleborg with the camper van, the city where we were planning to take the ferry to Germany the next day. We quickly found a good parking spot at a park. For lunch today, we had a real delicacy, "Königsberger Klopse with noodles", unfortunately, we didn't have any potatoes. Honestly, it didn't taste that bad.
In the afternoon, we went to the city. Dad decided that we should walk, since we only had to go to the end of the street. We started at house number 325 and were able to admire the beauty and details of many Swedish single-family houses until we reached number 1 (a total of over 3 km). We then visited the "Trelleborg", a former Viking circular fortress that has been rebuilt to one-third and is the namesake of the city. The wooden structure at the end wasn't as spectacular as advertised, but there was a nice park to take a coffee break. Back at the camper van, Finn was allowed to climb around on the playground for a bit and the day came to an end. While the little one was asleep, Mom and Dad relaxed watching a crime show. Our parking spot turned out to be a "hidden gem" for campervans. So we spent the night with 10 other camper vans in the parking lot.
