On this day, we only had a short journey from Denmark to our destination, Albany, where we visited the Gap and the Natural Bridge. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it was still interesting to see these two natural wonders. 'The Gap' is a gap in the rock formations where the waves break, creating rough conditions. We could observe this from a viewing platform. The force of the waves crashing against the rocks made us truly aware of the power of the water. Unfortunately, it was difficult to capture this in photos. Here are two attempts:
The Natural Bridge is an unusual rock formation. The water has created a hollow space in the rock, resembling a bridge.
Originally, we had planned to visit Flinders Peninsula, which was still the most beautiful place I had seen in Australia. However, due to time constraints, we had to cancel and head to Perth early the next day. So we stocked up on New Year's Eve supplies at my work station 'Oranje Tractor Wines' and Albany shopping center before driving a few kilometers towards Perth in the evening.
