From Sangerhausen to Magdeburg

It almost became a U100 stage, but then the speedometer stopped at just over 98 km. It wasn't planned, but we had to change the route a bit on the way to avoid federal roads without bike paths with a lot of trucks. For that, we had the best place for our lunch break so far, namely the Löderburger Badesee. Since we had already covered over 60 km at this point, jumping into the not so cool water of the lake was pure pleasure. Unfortunately, we had to continue after just over an hour. Afterwards, a relatively strong north wind, which blew unhindered over the Magdeburg Börde, gave us a hard time. We were glad to finally arrive in Magdeburg. Here we stayed in the vicinity of the cathedral at the Roncalli Haus, the episcopal educational institution.
