Today is Sunday, perfect for a day to chill out. At the reception of the campsite, I get valuable tips. In addition, I book a boat tour in Milford Sound for the next day with a hefty discount, on the smallest boat. There you are personally greeted by the captain and there is as much coffee and cookies as you want. The additional day at the luxury campsite is already covered due to the discount. Speed isn't everything 😉
There's not much going on in Te Anau today. Only at the supermarket, because they are open 7 days a week in New Zealand.
After a long 20km walk along the lake, there's still some travel planning to do. In the evening, I try to write a new song, two lines and one chord come out. It's not much, but it's enough for now. The idea for it came up last week at Lake Matheson.
Today, I'm going to bed earlier than the "Speed Campers" because tomorrow will be a long day! 9:30pm! Unbelievably early.
By the way, I have further developed the camper categories:
Speed Campers
High Class Campers
Universal Campers
Low Budget Campers
No Budget Campers
Tent Campers
"I don't want, but I have to" Campers
Resident Campers
