That's how it was in Krasnoyarsk today unfortunately.

And since no bus wanted to take us in the pouring rain, we had to walk the four kilometers to our hotel. The kindness and helpfulness of the Russians towards tourists never ceases to amaze us... But thanks to the walk across the city, we were able to see a lot of the city.

However, the hotel surprised us very positively. Unusually friendly and helpful staff for Russian standards and a really beautiful room. So the four-star Hotel Metelitsa is an absolute recommendation from us. :-)

Because of the rain, we didn't do much, we just went to a very nice and delicious Italian restaurant to eat pizza. Now we are enjoying our time here at the hotel.

Unfortunately, it's going to rain again tomorrow, but we will still explore Krasnoyarsk before heading further east in the afternoon.
