Paella Alicantina

In our training today, we not only did outdoor activities such as hiking, stand-up paddling, swimming, aqua jogging, and fitness training, but we also prepared and enjoyed Sangria and Paella together. The ingredients were bought beforehand at the large market hall, where mainly products from this region are sold. We clearly disproved the saying that too many cooks spoil the broth. However, this may also be due to our excellent chef Maria. New findings:

  1. Paella is only served for lunch, not in the evening, because it is not a light meal.
  2. There are three types of Paella: with meat, with seafood, or vegetarian. Fish and meat are not mixed in a Paella.
  3. The Paella Alicantina is prepared with Noras, not with saffron.
