Tag 96 Epidaurus Bay near Loutraki

It is no longer summer. A little rain this morning, no sun 😏. But okay, we are still standing in front of the entrance of the Epidaurus amphitheater at 8:00. The sky has calmed down, no more rain. The good thing was: There were four of us, no one else. The special feature is the acoustics of this ancient theater. I dropped a coin and the others listened from the upper ranks. I would have liked to sing a little song, but that would not have been reasonable. Burki then sang Cafe Oriental by Bill Ramsey, but unfortunately in the wrong direction 😏 from top to bottom 😂. Afterwards we visited the associated museum and other ruins in the outdoor area. For example, the Temple of Asclepius, the stadium, bathing facilities and more.

After a hearty breakfast we continued towards Corinth. Now the sun is shining again, it makes the photographer's heart happy. Of course, a stop at the Corinth Canal is a must, even if we already know it. Unfortunately, once again, there is no ship passing through here at our time. Nevertheless, this structure is fascinating to look at and unimaginable how the whole thing was completed.

Then we drove to the bay near Loutraki. A bit of a rough way down, but doable. Thank God for all-wheel drive 🙏. A Robinson Crusoe place. Well done, boss 😭.
