So far, tonight has been the coldest on our trip. (Eight degrees) But after jogging, I thought I would be warm and went into the cold water. Well, it worked, the sea is still good for a morning swim. Today we bought some things for the people back home in the small village shop. Then we drove to the Richtis Gorge picnic area. Nicely laid out with stone benches and tables and a good water source. Nestled between cliffs, with a stony beach in the front. No one else but us. We take a walk a little further, following the sun, because there's only shade where we're standing. Still, it's somehow a beautiful atmosphere, a magical place, that's how it feels to me. The next morning, I think it's the last time we're doing the gorge hike 😅 A nice little hike through the Richtis Gorge. Somehow it always trickles, a small waterfall and occasionally small pools with several crayfish. Meanwhile, Burki enjoys himself on the road until he picks me up at the entrance of the gorge.

Today we arranged to meet Jürgen at Tholos beach. As soon as we arrived, he told us that he was inviting us to have pizza in the camper tonight. Wow, that sounded good. Around 6:00 p.m., we went over, and when I entered the good Rheinstar, I thought I was hit. Jürgen had decorated the seating area so beautifully and Christmassy. 👍 A big applause for your decoration art. Then came the next surprise, he had already prepared the pizza so that he only had to bake it in the pan. I never thought that would work. With much love, he served us 3 different types of pizza 🍕. Jürgen, you always manage to surprise us. Thank you very much for this wonderful evening.

This morning, the last goodbye from Jürgen. Since the Peloponnese, we have met 10 times and it has always been a great time. Now we have the last few days ahead of us. The ferries are booked. We will start the long journey home on Tuesday. We have decided to take as many ferry rides as possible. If everything goes well, Venice will be our destination port. But we still have a week until then.
