Day 8: Saadiyat Beach, Yas Mall and Yas Marina
So far, we thought the beach at the Corniche was beautiful, but we hadn't known Saadiyat Beach yet. Like at the Corniche, at Saadiyat Beach you also have to pay an entrance fee to a "Beach Club", but at the public "Beach Club" it only means that you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, and there are changing rooms, toilets and showers near the beach. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with a "Club".
We pay the entrance fee for the beach and walk through the dunes on a wooden path to the beach:
Pure Caribbean!!!
We are greeted by a snow-white sandy beach with a dream of turquoise blue water. Amazing!!! Greetings from the Maldives!
We spend the day at the beach, swimming and snorkeling, and even see dolphins jumping out of the water not far from us!
Wow!!!
In the afternoon, we drive to Yas Marina, where the husband has an appointment to ride a wakeboard boat. We are allowed on the boat and zoom through the marina - the husband on the wakeboard behind the boat.
In the evening, we have dinner with the family at a restaurant in Yas Mall, and later the kids have fun with the water games at Yas Marina. We enjoy the colorful lights and in the background, we can see Yas Viceroy - easily recognizable by its sparkling roof.
