Tag 10 - Maryland

And once again we have conquered a state, including a Starbucks cup. A lot of forest, water and nature lie behind us. We have left behind the Chesapeake Bay and are now not far from Washington. This is our first time at a KOA Campground in Cherry Hill. We will stay here for two nights.

From here, we can take the metro bus and train to see President Obama tomorrow. I would like to tell him that I already miss him even though he will have a successor in November.

On the way, we bought a delicious melon at one of the countless farmers' sales stands and also stopped for shopping at an outlet center... Some clothes have found their way into my possession.

Here in College Park, where we are right now, it is currently 31 degrees Celsius at half past eight in the evening. On the way here, about 2 km away, I also spotted my first IKEA, finally... I was only able to take a quick look and snap a photo.

So then, tomorrow we will discover history.
