As I step out of the hostel and am still undecided whether I would rather see the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden or the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA), the sun suddenly darkens and a nasty hail shower takes away the decision from me. Then heavy rain joins in, so that you can't see your hand in front of your face and within seconds I am soaked to the skin. So an Uber is necessary. That works out great and in no time I am at the Waterfront and thus also at the Zeitz MOCAA. The admission costs 180 Rand, including an English audio guide. Very cool, the people of Cape Town. You are allowed to take pictures. Very awesome.
The images, installations, and sculptures are as diverse as Africa itself, interesting, disturbing, colorful, stimulating, incomprehensible, challenging... If you are interested in art, you shouldn't miss this.
