Another weekend with many new experiences and adventures: a Steve Aoki concert, a stolen cell phone, and looots of cacti… But let's start from the beginning:
Last Friday, we once again made our way to San Diego with some others from our dorm! This time, not to enjoy the beautiful city, but because we had tickets to the club 'Omnia', where Steve Aoki was performing in the evening!
It was an unforgettable evening - although the fancy club was unfortunately overcrowded and, to make matters worse, Jana's cell phone was stolen from her bag...
A bit tired, we set off to Joshua Tree National Park the next day, which is about three hours' drive from San Diego. The trip was definitely worth it: Joshua Tree is another impressive, but completely different national park than the ones we had visited so far. Dry plants, many rocks and stones, and countless cacti greeted us at the viewpoints and on the short hikes we did there. In the evening, we headed back to Fullerton, completely exhausted and hungry.
After a quick stop at 'Pieology', where you can create your own pizza, we finally arrived back at University Village and happily fell into bed!
