2nd day.. cozy rainy weather

It rained all night, sometimes more, sometimes less.

There were even some thunderstorms.

We slept well, but woke up several times... but that's the beauty of vacation: it doesn't matter when and how much you sleep, you don't have to get up in the morning or go anywhere :)

In the morning, it continued to rain quietly, the sound of raindrops on the roof.. I love it.. a reason to be lazy :)

The first neighbors with their small VW buses are already leaving. As much as I love my little T5 VW bus named Sunny.. these are the great advantages of Johann.. it's raining and we like it. In the small buses, you can't do anything.. just lie down, no moving, no sitting outside, and not even standing or sitting when the bed is unfolded. Exactly this kind of weather prompted us to buy a larger motorhome this year.

We started by making coffee, scrambled eggs, had breakfast and looked out at the rainy lake.

Now I'm lying in bed, typing, listening to the rain, and Markus is installing a new faucet.. the old one wasn't working properly anymore.. And there's still room to move :)

We're not sure yet if we'll stay here or continue driving.. we'll see. I haven't seen the little sightseeing boat on Lake Bohinj yet today.. I'd love to take a ride on the lake.. I really liked that last time when she explained everything. :)

So, now we actually decided to continue driving, after watching the rain for three quarters of the day, we thought: we can do that somewhere else too :) So, pack up and hatch a plan.. and at the same time check in.. as we haven't done that in Bohinj yet, it's always so cozy and social that you forget about it when you arrive... and as always, it's not a problem and sometimes they don't even want the full price, in our case this time, nothing at all, because the weather is so bad and there's so few people... at least we'll leave a tip.

Now, we're in Novigrad, so we have already crossed another national border: 3 countries in 3 days, so to speak :)

To celebrate the start of our vacation or the first day at the sea, we treated ourselves to the expensive sea view spot (we saved some money yesterday :) ), with our OWN PALM TREE, Markus says! Even though we arrived when it was already dark: it's worth it! Just sitting there and looking at the sea while eating and afterwards with a bottle of beer - 2 liters! ;) Simply great... Something like this is only possible in the offseason... And: we have left the rain behind us.. who would have thought; not us, according to today's weather report. But for now, let's go to bed... and tomorrow we'll see if the sea spot is nice enough to justify two nights or if we prefer to move forward... we'll see :)
