Sunrise at the Grand Canyon

The alarm clock is set at half past 4 today so that we don't miss the sunrise at Mather Point.

We're heading to Las Vegas. At this time, you really have to be careful. A coyote, a pheasant, mules are crossing the road and deer and deer are standing at the roadside. 🌲🦌🦌🌲

We make a short detour along the legendary "Route 66" from Seligmann to Kingman.

Here everything is 66. But here too, we're almost alone on the road due to the time of day.

We pass the Hoover Dam and arrive at our first hotel in Las Vegas. The Downtown Grand in North Las Vegas. The hotel is located on Fremont Street.
