After recovering from food poisoning, we go to beautiful Tbilisi for the second time and meet Alena, Inga, and Achi from 'Act for transformations' Caucasus office' there to donate our car to this social organization.
The registration office is not a building like ours where there might be 5 customers ahead of you, but rather a confusing area where we would have been lost without our Georgian support!
Our car is checked directly, the customs fees are determined, and then it only takes 3 hours to get everything sorted out!
And then it's finally time, we have to say goodbye after over 10,000 kilometers... a sad day, but we're really happy that the car is in good hands, can continue to drive through beautiful Georgia, and that we have done something meaningful!
We still spend the evening together and are invited to dinner by the new car owners!
We spend a few more days in beautiful Tbilisi,
and finally see the city at night - incredibly impressive!
And, as always, there is work alongside the leisure fun:
Now is the time to say goodbye not only to our car, but also to Georgia - the journey continues, this time by plane, to Oman!
Thank you beautiful country, it's incredible what we've experienced here! See you very soon!
Finally:
Conclusion Georgia Katha: 'We were really looking forward to Georgia and I'm more than thrilled! Words can't describe how overwhelmed we have been by the hospitality of the people here! But not only that, the nature, the animals, the cities, the small villages, and the long car rides were simply beautiful! I'm also happy that our loyal car has found great owners here and will surely stay with them for a long time! Thank you Alena, Inga, and Achi for your help and friendship - it will be great to see each other again in Germany and Georgia!'
Conclusion Georgia Ronny: 'So now we have reached and crossed our first big goal, Georgia, confidently. Hospitality here doesn't work without rounds of drinks, dinner invitations, and lots of homemade wine. As guests, we are warmly welcomed everywhere and we have also had many great experiences with the people. When world travelers claim that Georgia was the most beautiful country after 3 years, that says a lot about this small, great country. We had a great time and would love to come back. Madloba!'
