Bristol - a bit of everything

The trainride to Bristol was a bit exciting because each train has 2 spots for bikes and you can't always book it. Fortunately there was one left for me. To continue planning and replanning my trip I booked in a hostel in Bristol for 2 nights. But than most of the time I spend on sightseeing because there were so many exciting things. Bristol is not beautiful but you can find historical buildings next to modern architecture. And with the suspension bridge and the docks you have great engineering inputs beside a wide ranging creative part. You find many graffiti of Banksy and other street artists around every corner and lot of live music events. The university is impressive and in the parks you find a lot of sport activities. 

I had a full day of walking, walking arround the old town, hiked through the Leigh Woods next to the Clifton suspension bridge, walked to the Underfall Yard and had a closer look at the SS Great Britain at the harbourside. It was not enough time to explore everything but I'm also happy to see want the country offers me next.
