After a good flight, we land late in the evening in Narvik, where we have booked a hotel directly at the airport. Check-in is quick and easy and we get our room. We decide to go outside again to see if there are any northern lights, as the sky is pretty clear. To our delight, the northern lights appear over the city. It is an incredible experience to be able to enjoy this on the first day.
