Hello Baltic Sea

已發表: 29.07.2017

Parents don't need an alarm clock, even at 3 in the morning. Jule wakes us up shortly after 2. Like in a coma, we search the bed for the pacifier. We decide not to fall asleep again, otherwise getting up will be even worse. We let the kids sleep and tidy up the rest. Grandpa makes coffee, grandma makes sandwiches. The dream of putting the kids to sleep in the car quickly dissipates. The excitement keeps our eyes open. We start at 4 o'clock sharp. After 45 minutes, the kids start goofing around in the back. Then it's quiet. Everyone is sleeping peacefully - except for dad. He has to drive. Back home on the highway...

At 7 o'clock, everyone wakes up. Time for breakfast. Soon the gas tank is running low. Stopping and stretching our legs is good for everyone. The last grandma sandwiches are devoured. By the way, I hate chocolate cookies in little children's hands. Thank you for inventing wet wipes.

At around 11, we reach the campsite. A bit off the beaten track but right by the sea. Nice!

The men take care of the heavy lifting. As if it were yesterday, the awning and seating area are set up. The girls have lunch. Today it's healthy food - Miracoli. Mom is fighting chronic tiredness and takes a nap with Jule after eating. Our peace lasts until 4 o'clock while it's pouring rain outside. Dad and Philip pass the time with Lego and a tablet. Then the sun comes out. Off to the beach. After everyone gets wet once, we undress and splash around in our underwear. In the meantime, dad saves Philip's hat from the waves.

After dinner and showers, we're now in bed and won't get any older. The campsite is crowded. The loud music has also become quieter. I have to emphasize that as a square!

Good night!
