Tierra del Fuego, the end of the world

After 3,000 kilometers, we finally arrived in Tierra del Fuego, 'El fin del Mundo' (the end of the world). To get to Ushuaia, we have to drive through a part of Chile and cross the Strait of Magellan by ferry. In the past, ships used to sink here, and now we know why - even our large ferry was shaken on this short stretch.

The weather forecast for the next few weeks is 10 degrees during the day and 5 degrees at night, plus the cold wind. Occasionally, there will be rain as well.

When we arrive in Ushuaia (still 400 kilometers to go), we will quickly gather information about an Antarctica tour and try to get a last-minute spot.
