#21 Queenstown and beyond

Terrified by the number of tourists in Queenstown, we drove past it and went for a lovely hike around Moke Lake. On the next day we did a hike on the famous Routeburn track into the Mount Aspiring National Park which served as the Misty mountains in "The Hobbit". On the way to Arrowtown, an old gold mining town, we stopped at the highly recommended Fergburgers. The burgers were good, but the highlight was definitely the German whole grain bread from the Fergbakery!
