Once again, today the Isle of Skye woke us up with sunbeams. It fit very well because today we wanted to hike in the Quiraing area.
For this, we had to drive to the north of the island and fight our way through single tracks again. Parking went very well despite the crowds and we started.
Already from the parking lot, a magnificent panorama presented itself. With every meter, it got better.
Dreamy views of the sea, neighboring islands, and of course the seemingly endless landscape of the Highlands invited us to marvel.
We then hiked further to the neighboring rock and back through a valley below the rock formation.
We could have stayed for hours.
Today we ate at Red Skye. Within a 15-minute walk from our pod. Very good food and we even dared to try haggis. Tastes good!
Another great day ends with lasting impressions, and so does our stay on the Isle of Skye. 😪
Tomorrow we will continue to Fort William.
Unfortunately, our ride on the Jacobite Steamtrain won't happen. It has been canceled due to safety concerns on the train, just like the last few weeks.
That's how it is, better than taking risks. ☝️
Stay tuned!
