On the way to the Milford Sounds we could see snow-covered mountain domes on the west side of New Zealand. It is 16*C, the water depth is 1520m and we have covered almost 2400 nautical miles in total.
This fjord has mountains over 2000m and therefore many snow domes and waterfalls that are still fed by the melting snow.
The commentator emphasized the unusualness of the fact that we are cruising through the sounds in perfect weather... No wind, no clouds, no rain... Pure sunshine and visibility, which is very rare. .. 🚢🏞️☀️
Goodbye New Zealand, what a beautiful country on the other side of the world and so worth seeing. It was wonderful to be able to experience it. 🇳🇿🚩
We are heading for Sydney and will be at sea for the next 2 days. 🧭🚢🐟
