Road trip end & back to the Gold Coast | Week 25 | 03/18 - 03/24/24

Monday morning we went via Bunbury to Perth, our destination on the road trip. We spent until Thursday in Fremantle, exploring the city, going to the beach and to Rottnest Island.

Rottnest Island is a small island off Perth that is well known for its quokkas. We rented bikes on the island and cruised around the island for a bit.

Thursday evening I took Sophie to the airport. I returned our camper the next day. After 5500km in 3 weeks it was the end of our road trip. I spent the rest of the day at the art museum, in a café and in the city. Saturday morning we went to the market in Fremantle and then back into the city.

In the evening we took the plane back to Brisbane and on to the Gold Coast. There wasn't much going on on Sunday because I was still exhausted from the overnight flight and also because the weather was very rainy.
