Durban: back and forth

After much deliberation and conversations with Konstantin and myself, as well as with South Africans, we have decided not to continue our remaining two weeks of the planned South Africa trip in the Durban area.

Both of us were in Durban 16 years ago and spent 4 months doing our practical year at the state-owned King Edward and Albert Luthuli Hospital. During that time, we traveled a lot in and around South Africa. We would have liked to see our host parents from back then.

Even back then, Durban was very dangerous. Probably, everything would have been fine, there are beautiful corners and national parks further north. But we didn't want to push our luck any further.

That's why we changed our plans and rescheduled our flights to Mauritius!!!!!
