Mission Beach

Another short detour we made at Mission Beach, because we were looking for cassowaries. The area around Mission Beach is known for that, so we took another trip into the rainforest.

I have to admit that we were even a little scared of finding one, because they are at least as big as us, have a horn on their head, and are flightless birds!

In hindsight, we weren't too sad about not finding one.

Next and our absolute last stop in Australia :( Cairns!
