G'day!
Just for a moment... I have to tell you something big.
We are here in Bundaberg. People from here just say Bundy. And a rum that is quite well known comes from here. I haven't tried it myself. There's a lot of what's probably called alcohol in there. And my older ones said that's not good for little buddy bears. By the way, you haven't tried it either. But that was probably due to something other than this alcohol thing.
However, there are also drinks where this is not included. Just look:
But what I actually wanted to tell you: about the rum distillery (my older one explained to me what distilling is. But I don't know if I fully understood it - sorry, I digress...) so, the rum -Manufacturers had the idea many years ago to use a polar bear as a mascot for the rum. Because of “icy cold” and all that. He's pretty funny. You can take a look at it.
In any case, it has a really exciting name. Do you know, how?
Bundy R Bear! Almost like me! Well, not Travis of course. But almost like Buddy Bear!
Of course I had to have my photo taken with him. Are you looking at:
The R." probably stands for “our”. The Australians talk in such a way that it sounds pretty similar. At least that's my theory.
Well, if I'm honest, it's my big one's theory. My knowledge of English is still pretty (warning, I learned a new word!) rudimentary. That's what you say when you can't actually do anything but don't want to tell everyone.
After a final walk on the beach, this time without snakes or anything like that, it's now time to say goodbye to Moore Park Beach. It was nice here.
We are now driving further south again to the Gympie area. My two older ones don't want to go diving on the Great Barrier Reef anymore. You said there would be a lot of diving coming soon - now there's something different. So our next overnight stay is in a tiny house - that's called a tiny house - on a farm. There are supposed to be a lot of animals there. I'm excited and will report back.
Oh, by the way: I was also allowed to sign dear Karlene's guest book. I was really proud of that 😊
All the best and warmest regards from Travis the Buddy Bear
