The ferry crossing from Picton to Wellington and Wellington

After today, we have a campsite with decent Wifi again, now I can update the blog again.

We took the ferry from Picton to Wellington the day before yesterday, it was partly extremely windy but sunny. There were also some nice pictures as you can see. Then quickly look for a campsite near Wellington, which was not so easy. Then we found a campground 30km away that was really good and super clean.

Yesterday we were in Wellington, what a great city!!!

First of all, culture was on the agenda here and of course a little shopping, as it is currently summer sale.👍

After we rode up the mountain with the Cable Car, a funicular railway, we met a super nice woman from Sydney up there and talked to her for a long time.

After it rained heavily last night, we decided to drive a long distance to Napier today. We want to explore the city tomorrow. Napier was almost completely destroyed by an earthquake on 3.2.1931 and then rebuilt in the Art Deco style within a few years. We are curious about that.
