21.6. - Villeneuf-Loubet Day 3 - Trip to Antibes

Antibes, nicer than Cannes. The road there is boring, straight between the sea and the railway line, but it's only six kilometers.

A mighty fortress, Fort Carré, towers over the port of Antibes. But we are not in the mood for militarism and literally ignore it.

We park our bikes at the city wall by the harbor and go to eat in the old town. I actually wanted to go to Cap d'Antibes, where the Billionaires' Bay is. But Katja doesn't feel like it, so after dinner we stroll around Antibes for a bit and then drive back and go for a swim.
