25/03/19 - on the Road

Today we originally wanted to stop in Bremer Bay. The place is known for whale watching. But unfortunately, you have to book a boat tour for that which should cost 400 dollars. I would have loved to see the killer whales... But the price was just too expensive for us! 😕 So we decided to drive straight to Esperance. That was a damn long distance. And because our camp was located right on the highway, we just had to drive straight... Without turning for 200 km until we had lunch at Ravensthorpe. And then another approximately the same distance to Esperance. That was also an experience! Sooo long stretches and no car in sight! 😜 Only occasionally a car or a road train (which are very big and long trucks).

In Esperance, we finally were in a bigger city again! There were cheap supermarkets and everything else you need. After shopping, we went to a really nice campsite! There was a kitchen and a big clean bathroom and trees... So that you were also protected from the wind. 👍
