First Ivey week

Soooo, the first week at university is over! It's totally crazy here: the university simply has a built-in Starbucks, the "canteen" offers food prepared in front of you, be it taco Tuesday, a burger or another highlight of the week, all in the same building! I'm excited. But since it's relatively unhealthy, I have to try stretching it a little and enjoying it in moderation! We don't want all the training in Western's free gym to be for nothing. We are still looking for the best deals. Tequila Tuesday, $1.25 beer Wednesday or wings Thursday. We've already tried all of this and will probably refine it over the coming weeks! I now understand why so many Europeans gain weight during their year abroad 😅 despite all that, I'm having a lot of fun here :) today I'm starting to plan my upcoming trips. What will definitely be there: Cleveland, New York, Toronto, the Niagara Falls and a week in the warmth of México, Cuba or something similar :) and all of that only during the semester (mom, dad - of course I'm 24/7 just learning, ignore the last part 😉)!

What still surprises me: the pack sizes here - I think the popcorn in the picture was 3 or 4 times as big as my head 😂 We also made the great figures out of plastic cups ourselves, as that's common here in Canada. That was actually very funny!
