Whitsunday Island

After breakfast, we were picked up by "Thunder Cats" and taken to the nearby harbor. Here our tour began with a speedboat, unfortunately not with a sailboat, as stated in the description.

I don't know what would have been better 😅, we had strong winds and rough seas.

Unfortunately, the information that we would make two snorkeling stops was also missing, as I had my own mask and snorkel, which were in the room. But luckily there was a small pair of goggles included, so I was able to snorkel at the second spot as well. After 1.5 hours of a roller coaster ride (as a girl from Hamburg, I usually don't have any problems, but that was really not nice 🥴), we arrived at the highlight.

We walked through a path to a super beautiful viewpoint, and the other path led to the beach. It was a really fine, white sand. And I would claim it's the most beautiful beach in the world (I haven't seen them all yet).

We had two hours to enjoy the island before it got turbulent again. This time it wasn't quite as bad.

When we arrived back at the hotel, we immediately jumped into the warm whirlpool. We stayed there for 1.5 hours and emptied a total of four bottles of champagne 🥂😅. It was another really nice day and afterwards we had dinner together.

Now we are on the bus on our way to Mission Beach, our second-to-last stop 😢...
