Ecuador/ Galapagos Islands - Day 4 - Tintoreras Island and Wall of Tears

At 9 o'clock we started with the boat to the islands in front of Isabella Island, where we could admire turtles, birds and a penguin. We docked at Tintoreras Island and went hiking there. There are many iguanas and mangrove trees. At one point on the island there was a water canyon with a lot of sharks in it, almost within reach.

Afterwards, we went snorkeling in front of the island. It was so amazing again! We saw pufferfish, turtles, a shark, rays, and starfish.

After lunch, we went to the Wall of Tears, a wall built by prisoners in the mid-20th century. On the way there, we could also experience two giant turtles up close. As the end of the day, we visited a lava tunnel.
