Sweden

As seen in the last entry, the weather from the island of Møn was gray, windy, and rainy. Unfortunately, this continued in Sweden as well. Christian caught a bad cold, which first became noticeable in Malmö at a camping site (where we stayed last year), when the driver was finally able to rest. To relieve some pressure from the trip, we decided to "only" drive up the east coast to Norrköping and then turn west towards Norway. Since we were able to see a lot of Sweden last year, we thought a more relaxed route would be sensible. After Christian started feeling better after a few days, unfortunately, I got sick, so we weren't both healthy in Sweden a single day.

Now we are in Norway and we are feeling good again!!

Now let's talk about our route:

We drove from Malmö to Skivarp and stopped at the gluten-free paradise near Ystad, which was my highlight. Food can make you very happy, and if it's gluten-free... WOW

Then we were in Söderåkra and Kalmar. Afterwards, we spent a few days on the island of Öland in the towns of Ventlinge and Skärlöv. We particularly liked the Ottenby Lund Nature Reserve in the south of the island, also because the weather was actually good there. With Christian's binoculars, we were able to observe some seals and birds.

From Oskarshamn, we went to Rödängen, Motala, Karlskoga, and finally to Kongsberg in Norway. We don't have many nice pictures from Sweden because it was raining almost the whole time, but that will change in Norway, we can already reveal that.
