La Gomera

On La Gomera we were there for 'only' five days and short spoiler: It doesn't have to be longer... :/

The visit to the second smallest Canary Island started with a bit of nervousness. We started on El Hierro. From there we flew to Tenerife and then on to La Gomera. In Tenerife North we only had 35 minutes to change planes. If the plane is delayed and you are traveling with a wheelchair, it gets interesting. With 'Mobility Service' you board first and disembark last. Luckily, it turned out differently than on the flight to El Hierro and this time we caught our connecting flight :)

Puuh....

First, we visited our new accommodation in Hermigua and spent the evening together with a few mosquitoes on the terrace.

Very unusual for us, but actually the next few days were rather quiet. Nevertheless, we saw a lot on the island and paid extreme attention to stopping at EVERY viewpoint.

Back to the Isla Bonita (which is not without reason) we went by ferry from San Sebastián de La Gomera via Los Cristianos in Tenerife to Santa Cruz de la Palma.

Conclusion: La Gomera is beautiful - no question about it! It is a rather rocky island with a large national park. Hiking here must be very special. Unfortunately, we can't say anything about it. La Gomera is close to Tenerife, which is why many day tourists come here.

We had some beautiful days here, but in comparison to La Palma and El Hierro, in our opinion La Gomera cannot keep up.
